Beauty Celebration is a black-tie formal affair that will lift
you, move you and inspire you. Participants and guests alike will leave
excited, satisfied, empowered and acknowledged for their contribution to
Betty's Haven, a worthy local women's shelter.
On Friday, June 13th, a grand celebration of powerful effeminate
beauty will be displayed
on larger than life photo prints in a fine banquet
hall creating the experience of an adoring art gallery. Women and girls
from Betty's Haven will be some of our guests of honor with their beautiful
portraits decorating the walls.
Perfectly styled refreshments will be enjoyed by all attending while being
entertained by talented local music artists. Other guests of honor will be
the contributing who's who of Houston's celebrated women who are the models
of the high-fashion artistic photos on display.
There will be a silent auction and the evening will end with
a special acknowledgment of Betty Street and the guests of honor given
by a local Houston celebrity. There will be no cameras allowed nor the
use of photo capture cellular devices.

Eric Riley was born in Burundi, Africa as the son of Quaker missionary parents being the only son with three sisters. He lives in Houston, Texas now as a businessman, photographer and public speaker. Eric also founded an organization that builds schools and repairs hospitals in war zones of Central Africa. 2. Would you like to participate in a first annual glamorous event that celebrates beauty and raises money for a Betty’s Haven, a local women’s shelter with a huge heart and big need for support?
3. Do you see yourself contributing by simply attending the Celebration on June 13th or do you see that you would like to be more involved?
4. We will be doing a “make-over” and glamour photo shoot day for several of the women from Betty’s Haven, would you like to be part of that for them? We will be using the photos for display at the Celebration.
5. Do you have a great relationship with a party rental company or gourmet catering company that you could get actively involved or are you or have a relationship with an event planner that would love to showcase their work as a contribution to Betty’s Haven?
6. We will have only twelve featured print models that will all have a seven-foot tall photo print of themselves partitioning the center of the Celebration hall as an exquisite walk-through gallery. The models will not be from any agency or pageant. They will be women who make a generous contribution to Betty’s Haven through this event. These large prints will be glamorous and will include visual accents of artistic high-fashion makeup as an expression of power and beauty. The finished images will be classy, soft and appealing yet bold and independent. Do you see yourself as one of these featured print models?
